Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
~ Margaret Mead
It’s your county, too; help us protect and improve it. If you would like to help and/or have questions about Prince William Citizens for Balanced Growth (PWCBG), please e-mail us by clicking this link.
Here are just some of the ways you can help:
- Send us local newspaper reports or commentaries about balanced growth that you think add something to those already on this site. Such newspaper articles might include statements by county supervisors/candidate supervisors or other local political figures, reports on road-building projects, statements by residential developers, reports on large residential development projects, etc.
- Agree to address county Planning Commission or Board of County Supervisors (BOCS) meetings in support of important balanced growth issues.
- Contact your BOCS supervisor in support of important balanced growth issues. Here’s a link to supervisor contact info: PWC Government.
- Agree to help mobilize neighbors, friends, or family members or hand out fliers in support of major balanced growth issues — as current PWCBG members did when they helped defeat Brentswood in 2006.
